Tanya grew up on the Central Coast of New South Wales, where
she developed a great love and appreciation of nature and the environment.
Developing an artistic style based a keen understanding of nature her
work is characterised by high detail and a devotion to capturing the true
spirit of the subject.
Tanya paints in various mediums such as Ink, Acrylics,
and Gouache however has come to appreciate the challenge and versatility
of Watercolour and now chooses it as her preferred medium. Finding that
she was constantly drawn to works portraying extreme detail and depicting
subjects such as flora and fauna she has decided to combine these two
aspects in most of her work. Her paintings can be found in private collections
throughout Australia and overseas.
Tanya has exhibited her work in local galleries and various
NSW exhibitions, winning numerous awards.
Recently Tanya won the highly acclaimed First Prize in
the Native selection of the BASA (Botanical Art Society of Australia)

year Tanya has been invited to exhibit at Botanica
